Results and Discussion
The study was conducted in major
primary schools in Tandag City, Surigao del Sur proper. The subject of the
study was to identify glitches in translating English language into Tandaganon
The study conducted the survey to Grades 1 to
Grade 3 teachers from major elementary schools in Tandag City. To be able to
recognize their needs in enhancing the Mother Tongue subject for the benefit of
the pupils and other concerned users.
The primary data were gathered on December 2017
from major primary schools in Tandag City proper where the study was conducted.
Secondary data were taken from online websites, books, other research studies,
and other printed articles found in SDSSU library.
The official uploading of the
program started on the second week of January 2018 until its 3rd
week. It was administered via web hosting for laidback access of primary
schools and other interested parties. Offline or local hosting for schools with
poor or no internet connection was also considered for the access of the
A survey questionnaire
was the main data gathering tool of the study. Questionnaires were handed to
Grades 1 to Grade 3 teachers from primary schools in Tandag City, Surigao del
Sur to get their assessments and opinions of the research study.
The first draft of the questionnaire
was submitted to the Researcher’s adviser for comments and corrections which
served as the basis for the improvement of its contents. I.T. experts were also
consulted to verify whether the contents of the questionnaire were appropriate
and suitable for the study.
Manual administration of the survey

finalized survey questionnaires.

subject is easy on the definition of phrases, 51 or 51% on the definition of
words. 25 or 25% of it said it’s easy on sentence composition and 17% on Articulation/Translation

1.3 showed the result on the effectiveness of Analysis Engine for English –
Tandaganon Languages. It can be scraped together from the table that the
indicators about the Analysis Engine for English – Tandaganon Languages survey
questionnaire got the highest weighted mean of 1.09 with a rating of most
likely because using the analysis engine, one can spend less time on finding a
certain translation of words. The overall result using the questionnaire, the
rating is 1.19 with the adjectival rating of “Most Likely”, it only means that
the analysis engine for English – Tandaganon Languages reached the respondents
satisfaction on different indicators.
