The game includes all previously released content includes every map, character, mission, and all downloadable content from Hyrule Warriors and Hyrule Warriors Legends. This makes the number of playable Warriors a total of 29. The game is also set to feature 1080p HD resolution in TV mode and 2 players multiplayer on one Nintendo Switch console both in TV mode and on the device itself. It can also be played with a single Joy-Con controller. The game adds new Link and Zelda Costumes based on their appearance in Breath of the Wild. Now coming back to the trailer, we have the first trailer for the game courtesy of Koei Tecmo. The trailer is not in English, but the video shows a bunch of characters and features all the fighting and violence we’d expect. In case you want the actual details, you can find it here in this video of Nintendo mini-Direct.The video shows that the Definitive Edition includes every map, character, and mission for both the Wii U and 3DS versions including all DLC and supports all of that in 1080p in TV mode. Also, it has two-player split-screen support and that there are exclusive Link and Zelda Breath of the Wild outfits. The trailer hints at the release date for the game, yes March 22 like we all are hoping for. Although Nintendo has earlier mentioned the launch to be sometime in Spring, a press release in Hong Kong indicates that a March 22 release of the game is very likely. The trailer also hints at March 22. Therefore we can be quite sure of a March 22 release, at least in Asian countries. The Switch version of Hyrule Warriors was announced during last week’s surprise Nintendo Direct, but it wasn’t the only game Nintendo revealed. Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze is also coming to Switch, along with Dark Souls Remastered and the cult DS classic The World Ends with You.
